William A. Bryan III, M.D.
Dr.
Bryan, the senior member of our group, is the father of three grown sons.
He is an avid baseball fan and enjoys gardening and spending time with his
wife. He is involved in church ministries and gets much pleasure out of
caring for children of all ages.
Dr. Bryan graduated from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in
California and followed with an internship at Washington Adventist Hospital
in Takoma Park, Maryland. He completed his residency at Childrens
Hospital National Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
Dr. Bryan is a board certified pediatrician, a fellow of the American Academy
of Pediatrics and of the North Carolina Pediatric Society, and a member
of the American Medical Association and the Buncombe County Medical Society.
At Mission/St. Josephs Hospital, Dr. Bryan has held chairmanships
of Pediatrics, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Perinatal Committee and Perinatology.
Currently the Senior Partner of Asheville Childrens Medical Center,
P.A. , Dr. Bryan has active staff privileges at Mission Hospitals.

Brigette D. Fogleman, M.D.
Dr. Fogleman is the mother of an active, joyful little boy, Aden . She devotes much of her time to her child and husband and enjoys many outdoor activities such as fishing and bike riding. As a mother, Dr. Fogleman truly appreciates the meaning of “caring” for children and has even traveled to Africa on a mission trip to serve the medical needs of Malawian children.
Dr. Fogleman graduated from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and completed her Pediatric Residency at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Women and Children in Orlando , Florida .
Dr. Fogleman is a board certified pediatrician and holds a medical license in North Carolina . Dr. Fogleman has active privileges at Mission Hospitals.

Colby L. Grant, M.D.
As an Asheville native, Dr. Grant has recently returned home to join ACMC. She enjoys camping and skiing with her husband and family and is an amateur artist. Dr. Grant cares for both English and Spanish speaking children and is an active advocate for children’s health issues.
Dr. Grant is a Wake Forest alumnus and graduate of East Virginia Medical School. She completed a pediatric residency at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Grant is a board certified pediatrician and holds a medical license in North Carolina and Colorado. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Samuel M. Kohn, M.D.
Dr. Kohn is the father of three active boys and enjoys anything outdoors with his family, from walking the dog to hiking the Appalachian Trail. He welcomes the opportunity to partner with families in caring for their children and believes strongly in preventative care and health maintenance. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer in Guyana, South America, he is aware of the influence of a family’s culture or belief system in their medical care.
Dr. Kohn graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed his Pediatric Residency training at Seattle Children’s Hospital. He is happy to be back in North Carolina, closer to family and friends.
Dr. Kohn is a board certified Pediatrician, holds a medical license in North Carolina, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Kohn has active staff privileges at Mission Hospitals.

Kelly H. Klaaren, PA-C
Kelly
is the mother of
two wonderful little girls, who have given her
new insights into caring for children. Kelly's warm, level-headed approach
to the care of patients has endeared her both to our staff and patient population.
Kelly's husband, Josh, is also a physician assistant with a family practice
group in Asheville.
Mrs. Klaaren completed her Bachelors of Arts Degree at Earlham College in
Richmond, Indiana, majoring in Human Development and Social Relations. She
graduated with college and departmental honors and was elected Phi Beta
Kappa.
Continuing her education at Duke University, she received a Masters of Health
Science and completed the physician assistant program. In addition, Mrs.
Klaaren has received training in the evaluation and treatment of asthma
at the National Respiratory Training Center.
She is certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician
Assistants and is licensed with the North Carolina Medical Board.
