Services
Weekdays
Our regular business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. During this time we are here to meet your needs for well-child check-ups as well as sick or problem visits.
Evenings
Our evening hours are designed to make it simpler and faster to have your child seen for sick or urgent visits. Appointments for the Evening Clinic begin at 5:00 and are scheduled throughout the day in the order that calls are received by our Telephone Triage Nurses.
Weekends
On the weekends appointments are available with a Medical Provider. Please call between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and speak with a Telephone Triage Nurse to schedule an appointment.
Holidays
Appointments are available with a Medical Provider on most holidays between the hours of 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Please call between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to speak with a Telephone Triage Nurse to schedule an appointment.
Free Prenatal Visits
Please call during regular business hours to schedule a free prenatal consultation with the Provider of your choice.
In-office Lab
Our in-house laboratory is staffed by a medical technologist and offers a variety of routine and diagnostic testing. Our laboratory provides quality testing in a timely fashion that assists the medical providers in your child’s diagnosis and treatment. We believe that children are best served by laboratory personnel who specialize with children.
Phone Nurses
We provide our patients with 24 hour-a-day phone nurse service. If you have questions concerning your child’s health or well being or need help determining if your child should be seen by a medical provider, you can call and speak to a trained, licensed nurse. Our nurses have years of clinical experience and will help you find answers to any questions you have concerning your child. Call (828) 258-0969.
Dental Care
Asheville Children’s Medical Center provides in-office dental varnishing for children 12-42 months of age as part of comprehensive oral care.
